Wisconsin's ThedaCare partners with its competition to create a new care delivery system


Wisconsin's ThedaCare health system has invested $3 million in a competitor's MRI facilities to create a new care delivery system, according to an article on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel website.

They are part of what has been called the "convenience revolution."

"Health care needs to change," said Keith Livingston a senior vice president and chief information officer at ThedaCare. "We want to be leading the change."

Signs of change — from retail clinics in drugstores to on-site clinics at employers — that new ways of delivering care gradually are taking hold.
