Healthcare executives prioritizing sustainable cost control

Survey says cost and consumerism top list of concerns

The newest Advisory Board Annual Health Care CEO Survey says cost control has replaced revenue growth the top priority among health system CEOs, according to an article on the Healthcare Finance News website.

This is the first time this particular concern has appeared in the survey, and 62 percent of executives said they were extremely interested.

That level of interest is higher than for any topic in at least four years, Advisory Board said.
