Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Fla., plans a $650-million expansion

Healthcare facilities continue to invest in infrastructure and construction projects, according to an article on the Healthcare Finance website.

For instance, Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Fla., is planning a $650 million expansion.

Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, Ark., just completed a $31 million expansion project that added 51,000 square feet to the existing facility.

And University Health Care System in Augusta, Georgia will spend $4 million on University Hospital Summerville to convert three floors into an 80-bed senior nursing facility.
