Healthcare facility sends two comfort dogs to El Paso after mass shooting

Dogs offer comfort to the hospital staff and first responders tending to shooting victims


Following Saturday's mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, first responders and caregivers are getting a little support from a San Antonio healthcare facility in the form of comfort dogs, according to an article on the Kens5 website.

Facility dogs provide comfort to the hospital staff and first responders tending to the victims of the shooting.

A man opened fire in an El Paso shopping area, more than 20 people were killed and dozens were injured. 

The two dogs work for Methodist Healthcare and specialize in providing comfort to first responders and hospital staff dealing with high-stress situations.
