High-quality air conditioning solutions serving high-quality healthcare

DeLclima, through its subsidiary Climaveneta, has supplied air conditioning units to the American University of Beirut Medical Center: an academic medical center improving the health of the community in Lebanon through the delivery of comprehensive quality care to patients, modern education and innovative research.

The Wassef and Souad Sawwaf Building is the new home of the University Health Services and Family Medicine clinics and a diagnostic unit. Located on Clemenceau Street, the new four-story facility will house a state-of-the-art PET/CT Unit with its high-tech diagnostic equipment. The PET/CT scanner and a cyclotron is  a non-invasive nuclear medicine procedure that can identify disease earlier and in higher definition than with other tools. The nuclear Cyclotron PET Center laboratory is the first in Lebanon and is air conditioned by high efficiency DeLclima units. 2  NX-LN-1114T air source chillers and 4 Wizard  custom made air handling units with redundant fans, all supplied by Climaveneta, grant perfect comfort and air treatment to the various pressure and temperature sensitive PET /CT rooms and support areas.

Moreover,  the cyclotron itself and all related electronic and electrical equipment are located in one data and server room and are being maintained at a constant temperature and humidity year round using 2 AXU15/BRE22m DeLclima close control units.

DeLclima, the leading European air conditioning group, has worked on over 200 healthcare real estate projects around the world, bringing over 40 years of experience in improving operational efficiency.  Centre Hospitalier Gérontologique du Raizet in France; Clinica Comeca in Uruguay;  Hospital del Mar in Spain, Karolinska University Hospital in Sweden; Marrakech Medical Center in Morocco; Nouvel hôpital d' Orléans in France; Ospedale Villa Maria del Triunfo in Perù; Pall Mall Court in the UK; Cedim Medical Center in Lebanon and Unidade de Longa Duração in Portugal have chosen DeLclima air conditioning solutions in 2014 alone, for a total of 115 HVAC and HPAC DeLclima units installed last year in hospitals and medical centers in 10 different countries around the world.
