Hospital-based ambulatory surgery centers called best of both settings

Hospital-based ambulatory surgery centers follow the same strict regulatory and quality-control guidelines that apply to hospitals

Hospital-based ambulatory surgery centers combine the best of both settings as they follow the same strict regulatory and quality-control guidelines that apply to hospitals, according to an article on the My Central Jersey website.

The Surgery Center at Old Bridge, N.J., is a good example of the best of both settings, creating a comfortable, controlled patient environment. Patients will be able to have their preoperative testing done at the pavilion as well as make appointments with the physician practices.
