Hubbell Building Automation introduces new wiSCAPE external fixture module


Hubbell Building Automation has announced the new wiSCAPE™ External Fixture Module lighting control. This bidirectional wireless device allows any outdoor light fixture to be managed, monitored and metered. Hubbell Building Automation's new module demonstrates the brand's commitment to occupancy sensor and lighting control innovation.

The wiSCAPE External Fixture Module provides ON/OFF control and 0-10V dimming output compatible with all 2-wire dimming drivers and ballasts. A built-in luxmeter allows for daylight harvesting, and a low-voltage input is available for motion sensor, switch or photocell control.

Hubbell Building Automation's new device features universal voltage input, supporting 110-480V applications. Retrofits are easy because the module connects directly to the luminaire through ANSI 7-pin or 5-pin twist-lock receptacles. Perfect for LED luminaires, the wiSCAPE External Fixture Module works is also suitable for traditional HID fixtures as well as induction lighting. 

The External Fixture Module drastically simplifies outdoor lighting control. No control wiring is required for configuration. As part of a wiSCAPE network, the device is easily managed through the wiSCAPE View™ software interface. The wiSCAPE wireless distributed control technology adapts easily to complex situations for quick and economical commissioning.
