Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Ill., recently completed a $200 million, 230,000-square-foot expansion, according to an article on the Chicago Tribune website.
The project also renovated an additional 150,000 square feet.
The number of inpatient beds increased from 169 to 176, making each room private and equipping them with wide screens that allow patients to see their treatment schedule for the day and identify their caregivers.
The hospital also built four new inpatient units, and expanded the hospital's 18-bed intensive care unit and three medical and surgical units.
