Larson Electronics LLC Releases Cart Mounted Rechargeable LED Work Area Light

Industrial lighting leader, Larson Electronics, has released a wireless, cart mounted rechargeable LED work area light with extension pole capable of illuminating an area 36,000 square feet in size. This LED light cart offers 16 hours of wireless operation and is ideal for use in mining, construction, marine and other industrial applications that require highly reliable and durable equipment.

The WAL-RPS-WBC-2X150LED-10X-WR is a ruggedly built rechargeable LED work area light that features a 10-foot extension pole. This portable LED work light is comprised of two adjustable LED light heads that provide 36,000 square feet of work area coverage with 29,580 lumens of total light output. Each light head features independent tilt and rotation, allowing operators to position the light heads on this portable cart for maximum illumination within the work space.

This portable flood light is equipped with a battery bank consisting of (4) 200ah 8D batteries mounted to the frame of the cart which provides 16 hours of runtime.  A wireless control board can be found inside the unit for wireless remote functions. Remote operation is provided by one wireless handheld remote controller that operates over a radio frequency of 433 MHz. This remote includes an internal 12-volt battery rated at 1 year of operation and a single red LED to indicate remote control activity. The remote controller has a range of up to 75 feet and will operate through walls, within structures, and in vehicles.

The LED lamp heads are mounted onto an aluminum adjustable extension pole, allowing operators to raise the lamps up to 10 feet above the ground. The extension pole is mounted to an aluminum wheel barrow style cart with wheels for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another.

"This light cart offers basically everything you need in terms of adjustability, flexibility and output,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics. "The wheelbarrow cart provides exceptional mobility, the adjustable light heads and extension pole offer output flexibility, and the rechargeable LED operation provides excellent energy savings and longevity for the unit."
