Larson Electronics Releases 50’ Work Area Mining String Light with 37 LED Lamps

Larson Electronics, a leading establishment with expertise in industrial lighting products and portable power distribution units, announced the release of a 565-foot heavy-duty LED string light for tunnels and underpasses. This LED stringer system consists of 37, 10-watt LED lamps that produce 38,850 lumens and offers compatibility with mainstream 240V power sources.

The WAL-SL-MJ-37-LED-10.5-15X-5IW-5OW is recommended for high-output illumination in locations with tight spaces or limited mounting options. A total of 37 LED lamps can be found on the string with 10 feet of 12/3 SOOW cable connecting each lamp together. For seamless connections, this temporary LED string light is connected to a 240V power source via an integrated 5-foot line-in cable and features a 5-foot output whip. Multiple stringer sections can be daisy chained together via the included foot whips, which are terminated in L22-30 twist lock connectors. The system allows for a maximum of fifteen stringers to be daisy chained together via alternating hots to create a system spanning over 6000 feet in length.

During use, the LED string lamps provide 38,850 total lumens of output at a rate of 1,050 lumens per LED light. Each LED light screws into an E26 lamp socket. Each 10-watt LED lamp is protected by a cage guard for protection against rough contact, accidental bumping and light vibration. The protective component contains wide spacing, which allows light beams to fully penetrate the guard resulting in 360 degrees of illumination.

The WAL-SL-MJ-37-LED-10.5-15X-5IW-5OW is approved for use in wet locations. Constructed of aluminum, the components are lightweight and extremely durable. For mounting, a hook eyelet is available at the back of each LED lamp.

Applications for the industrial LED string light includes the following: tunnel lighting, warehouses, temporary lighting, overhead illumination, inspections, general illumination, task lighting, manufacturing, drafting and more. Larson Electronics offers explosion proof models for use in combustible environments.
