Leapfrog names top hospitals for 2019

Florida had the most top hospitals of all states with 21


The Leapfrog Group recently recognized 120 hospitals with its 2019 Top Hospitals awards, according to an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website.

Leapfrog recognized 10 as top children's hospitals, 37 as top general hospitals, 55 as top teaching hospitals and 18 as top rural hospitals.

Florida had the most top hospitals of all states with 21, followed by California with 16 top hospitals.

Twenty-two states had no hospitals on the list.
