Legrand North and Central America to Showcase Comprehensive Data Communications Portfolio at Cisco Live! 2018

At Cisco Live! 2018, Legrand North and Central America will showcase a range of solutions from the company’s Data Communications Division and Data Center Power and Control Division which include the Raritan and Server Technology brands. Unique solutions demonstrated in the booth will include copper, fiber, racks and cabinets, intelligent power and thermal solutions, active networking and wire and cable management for a variety of environments and applications, including Building Networks, Edge and Data Centers.

“At Legrand, we believe in the ability of intelligent systems to provide a simplified experience. This year we have designed our booth experience to demonstrate how end users can work with Legrand as a single systems provider for their intelligent building infrastructure including copper, fiber, racks, cabinets power and thermal management,” Rebecca Gilstrap, Director of Strategy, Legrand.

Among the technologies in the Legrand booth, #1841, will be a live Power-over-Ethernet lighting demonstration in a mock office setting. In addition to the live demonstration, Legrand, and cabling partner Superior Essex, are excited to introduce the nCompass Smart Building warranty – an industry first, guaranteeing channel power efficiency, 100w capability certified to IEEE 802.3bt, market leading DCR performance, and guaranteed data integrity under 100w power loads, all backed by an ETL certified report.

Legrand's “Simplified Edge” solutions will be deployed throughout Cisco Live!. The edge solutions were chosen by Cisco Live! to showcase and network infrastructure for the event. The unique, integrated solution includes Legrand vertical wall-mount cabinets, network connectivity, LED lighting and PDUs from Raritan and Server Technology, as well as sensors. The intelligent configurations will contain Raritan intelligent power distribution units, remote door locks, door contact sensors and temperature sensors - integrated and controlled by Power IQ.

Meanwhile, the power and environmental activity of integrated Legrand solutions will be monitored from within the Legrand booth, demonstrating the visibility, security and control that can be gained with edge solutions from Legrand.

In addition to the physical infrastructure and connectivity support, Legrand’s latest aisle containment solution, Contain-IT™ FLEX, will also be used by Cisco Live! to create a cold aisle environment within the Network Operations Center (NOC), preventing the recirculation of hot air into the cold aisle. An example of hot aisle containment, and sliding end-of-row doors, will also be on display in the Legrand booth – showcasing the versatility of the solution.
