Lennox' popular Raider rooftop unit now available in heat pump models

DALLAS – Lennox has expanded its light commercial Raider® rooftop unit line to include new 7.5-, 8.5- and 10-ton heat pump models. These new models join existing Raider units in 3- to 12.5-ton, gas/electric and electric/electric models. Raider units offer efficiency levels of up to 13 SEER, 11.5 EER and 13.2 IEER.

Raider units offer many design features created to simplify installation and help contractors save time and money on the job. These units are built to fit the industry’s most popular curb sizes and match existing utility locations. This reduces additional cost on replacement jobs by eliminating the need to purchase a new adaptor curb. Available as an option, MSAV® (multi-stage air volume) supply fan technology, optimizes energy efficiency by matching fan speed with compressor demand for additional utility savings. BACnet®, the industry’s leading building automation system (BAS) protocol, is available as a field- or factory-installed option. The BACnet option’s plug-and-play format helps customers save time and money on installation and service.

“The new Raider heat pump models help provide our customers in heat pump markets with a viable solution to their emergency replacement needs,” said Eddie Chavez, Rooftop Unit Product Manager, Lennox Commercial. “We pride ourselves in listening to our customer’s needs and these new models are a result of that attention to detail. We look forward to serving those customers in these markets.”

The new heat pump models are eligible for Lennox’ Rapid Replacement® Reward Program. All emergency replacement orders placed through the Rapid Replacement hotline (877-792-0024) or through Commercial Quick Quote are eligible for cash rewards. Once customers register for the Rapid Replacement Rewards program, they receive a Lennox-branded cash card that is loaded each Friday with their rewards.

Promotions change on a quarterly basis. From Oct. 1 – Dec. 31, 2014, customers will earn $75 per rooftop unit ordered through Commercial Quick Quote, $50 per rooftop unit ordered through the hotline and $25 per unit heater ordered through either channel.
