Light Efficient Design, www.led-llc.com, the premier source of LED for HID™ retrofit lighting solutions, today announced that it is ranked #864 on the prestigious 2015 Inc 5000, a listing of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The 2015 list was unveiled online on August 12 at inc.com/inc5000. 

The 2015 ranking is a big step up from the 2014 list, where Light Efficient Design ranked 1477. In its listing Inc. magazine notes Light Efficient Design’s 2014 revenues of $18.6 million and impressive three year growth rate of 517 percent. 

President and CEO Tim Taylor credits the efforts of all employees for the firm’s success. “We’ve doubled our business year over year for the last four years,” he says. “It takes a team effort to experience that level of strong, consistent growth.” 

In addition, Taylor singles out the firm’s determined focus on product innovation as a significant factor in its growth. The company has implemented inventive techniques such as active cooling and power circuitry that set Light Efficient Design apart from the competition. Earlier this year at LIGHTFAIR® International 2015, the firm introduced five new LED for HID models. Light Efficient Design has also introduced PL Retrofits, which integrate energy saving LED technology into a standard PL fluorescent format for wall or recessed area lighting in offices, hotels, and lobbies.
