Lunera Lighting implements industry data warehouse data synchronization platform

Santa Clara, Calif. - Lunera® Lighting, Inc., a leader in lighting innovations accelerating the transformation to advanced LED technology, is pleased to announce it has selected Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc.'s (IDEA) Industry Data Warehouse (IDW) as its electronic data synchronization platform. Electronic data transfer makes it easier for Lunera to quickly connect with its own salesforce and customers for more effective business-to-business e-commerce.

"Due to the increasingly strong sales of our plug-and-play LED lamps, we have arrived at the benchmark of needing a scalable solution to transfer product and sales information in a quicker and more efficient fashion. By adopting IDW's electronic data sync platform, we will be able to provide near-real time product data to our distributors and customers to expedite the ordering process," commented Lunera's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Tom Quinn.

A scalable data transfer solution will remove the task from Lunera's customers to map and manage constantly changing documents. Working in partnership with IDEA allows Lunera to bring best in class practices for data management and deliver a fast, efficient customer information process.

The IDW data sync platform was developed through a collaboration of electrical manufacturers, distributors and service providers, with a mission to satisfy the needs of all members of the supply chain and cut costs from the channel.

Built on industry eBusiness standards supported by the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) and the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA), the IDW platform from the Industry Data Exchange Association, Inc. reflects the most current data management and data transfer practices in the LED lighting industry.
