Maverick ads to FR-free product lineup

Morbern, the leader in decorative vinyl upholstery for commercial interiors, introduces Maverick at NeoCon 2015.  Maverick is an FR-free vinyl designed to meet the growing demand for FR-free products.

“As institutions and regulatory bodies continue to restrict ingredients, manufacturers must respond with new products that meet these revised requirements,” said Morbern Vice President of Sales and Marketing Doug McClendon, “yet still provide the aesthetic and performance components that create a beautiful, functional environment for the end user.”

Maverick is a durable plain with a simple leather texture, available in 26 colors and is designed as a value-driven line for the contract, hospitality and entertainment markets with a price point ranging from $8 to $10 per yard. It features Morbern’s exclusive MGX MorGuard Xtreme stain-resistant and cleanable topcoat that protects against, and easily cleans, the toughest soiling agents including denim, mustard, marker and ball point pen. Most stains can be effortlessly cleaned using warm, soapy water and clear water rinses. Tough stains can be removed with isopropyl alcohol.

Maverick is the second FR-free vinyl introduction from Morbern.  The first FR-free vinyl, the modern, patterned Bloom, debuted in May.
