MaxLite Architectural LED torchiere named to ENERGY STAR list

WEST CALDWELL, N.J. – MaxLite, a leading manufacturer and marketer of energy-efficient lighting, announces its new Architectural LED Torchiere as the first product of its kind to be named to the ENERGY STAR Qualified Products List.

Packaged with MaxLite’s award-winning ENERGY STAR-rated A19 LED Omnidirectional Lamp (12W), the GU24-socketed torchiere offers a long LED life and architectural-grade construction in one reasonably priced box. Available in black or white finish, the torchiere diffuses a warm, inviting light while remaining cool to the touch, making it suitable floor lighting for multi-family dwellings, dorm rooms, bedrooms, family spaces and more. The fixture is dimmable from a pole-mounted rotary switch and meets California’s Title 20 requirements for appliance energy efficiency.

“We are pleased to add the Architectural LED Torchiere to our growing list of ENERGY STAR-qualified indoor lighting solutions,” said Vice President of Product Marketing Pat Treadway. “MaxLite is the only manufacturer to offer this first-of-its-kind combination of award-winning, long LED life; ENERGY STAR rating; and premium construction in one value-priced package.”

Constructed with a residential-grade center pole, the torchiere measures 69 inches high, with a base diameter of 10.5 inches. The fixture’s translucent white polymer diffuser, which completely conceals LEDs from view, has a diameter of 14 inches. The torchiere operates on standard 120V and may be re-lamped with GU24 LEDs up to 23 watts. The fixture has a lifetime of 25,000 hours at L70 standards and is backed by a three-year limited warranty.
