MaxLite releases upgraded LED lightbars with certifications from ENERGY STAR, DLC

MaxLite announces the next generation of Plug-and-Play LED Lightbars, with greater efficacy and enhanced dimming performance, for custom commercial and residential lighting applications.

Plug-and-Play LED Lightbars are a versatile, energy-efficient alternative to linear fluorescent and halogen lamps for applications such as cove, cabinet and display lighting. The new generation of MaxLite lightbars offers a 20 percent improvement in efficacy and an expanded dimming range that lowers to five percent of full light output. In addition, MaxLite LED lightbars are certified by ENERGY STAR and listed by DesignLights Consortium (DLC), making them eligible for rebates from utility programs.

Offered in multiple lengths, color temperatures and lumen outputs, Plug-and-Play LED Lightbars are designed with an integral, low-voltage driver that maximizes energy efficiency without sacrificing light output. Delivering from approximately 150 and up to 2,000 lumens, the bars are designed with a full architectural-grade diffuser that minimizes glare, and delivers even lighting while concealing the LEDs from view. When linked together, the bars achieve unbroken beams of illumination that enhance decor and meet functional needs.

Constructed with a high-quality finish and overall dimensions of less than one square inch, the LED lightbars are ideal for illuminating cabinets, displays and hospitality applications such as race and sports book carrels. Plug-and-Play Lightbars are damp-listed for use in indoor locations with high condensation, such as bathrooms, utility rooms and indoor pool areas. In addition, the bars are certified by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) for use in food and beverage processing environments.

A complete range of accessories is available to ease the installation process. These include a distribution box that allows up to four separate light bar chains to run from the same 120-volt source with convenient on/off switching, and an ETL-listed connection box for hardwired connections to the system. Mounting clips are available for directional applications. The patent-applied-for clips install to most surfaces with a wood screw and give installers additional flexibility directing light for display and showcase lighting.

Plug-and-Play LED Lightbars are rated to a 50,000-hour life at L70 standards and come backed by MaxLite’s limited five-year warranty and lifetime product support.
