MaxLite's LED BR Lamps Receive ENERGY STAR Rating

West Caldwell, New Jersey – MaxLite®, a leading marketing and manufacturer of innovative, energy efficient LED lamps and fixtures, announces the addition of LED BR lamps to the ENERGY STAR® list of qualified lighting products. The ENERGY STAR LED BR Lamps are available in seven-, 10- and 13-watt models, which provide efficient general lighting in track lights, display lights and recessed lights for architectural, residential, retail, office and hospitality applications.

“The ENERGY STAR-rated LED BR lamps support our commitment to developing energy efficient lighting in the marketplace,” said MaxLite’s Vice President of Product Marketing and Engineering Pat Treadway. “Our new LED BR lamps save nearly 90 percent in energy and offer efficacies of up to 75 lumens per watt.”

Offered in three models, the LED BR20 seven-watt lamp replaces a 45-watt incandescent, the LED BR30 10-watt lamp is equivalent to a 65-watt incandescent, and the LED BR40 13-watt lamp replaces a 90-watt incandescent.

Each lamp is designed with a BR lens to conceal the LEDs from sight and evenly distribute the light. MaxLite’s LED BR Lamps can be dimmed down to five percent using standard dimming control systems. Equipped with a standard E26 medium base, the LED lamps are matched for color quality and consistency that capture the quality of halogens and are engineered with a proprietary solid aluminum housing for thermal heat protection that keeps the junction temperature well below specification, resulting in cool operation and long lumen maintenance.

MaxLite has a wide variety of ENERGY STAR qualified lamps and luminaires, which can be reviewed at www.maxlite.com.
