The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., is planning a $190 million expansion that will add a seven-story hotel and four clinical treatment floors to its Gonda Building, according to an article on the Becker's Hospital Review website.
The project is the second multimillion dollar investment in its campus in Rochester in less than a year. In late 2017, Mayo announced a $217 million modernization of its St. Mary's campus.
Mayo is also investing nearly $800 million to expand its campuses in Arizona and Florida.
Mayo is partnering with a Singapore-based real estate developer in a joint venture to own and operate the hotel.
