Patients at the DaVita Dulaney Towson Dialysis Center in Towson, Md., have reported that the facility has been plagued by flying insects, according to an article on the WBALTV website.
They say their concerns about sanitary conditions at the center are not getting much response, the article said.
The bugs are mostly a problem around the chairs patients sit in as they undergo the four-hour dialysis process. Patients say there are other issues, including fluid on the floor near the machines.
A DaVita Kidney Care spokeswoman said the Towson facility is undergoing a major renovation and that the plumbing work has led to unforeseen issues.
