Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis cancelled scheduled surgeries due to safety concerns in the wake of the riots, according to an article on the Fox 9 website.
Officials say emergency procedures will continue but other surgeries will be postponed.
The hospital is blocks away from the epicenter of riots.
Since then, the area has continued to see disturbances.
