Moen Commercial launches new modern bathroom suite

As part of its commitment to style and product performance, Moen Commercial is introducing new modern product styles to its popular, heavy-duty M•Dura™ and medium-duty M•Bition™ lines. These upscale faucet and showering options are the ideal solution for delivering both a contemporary – and durable – appearance for commercial facilities – especially college campuses, convalescence facilities, offices and hospitality spaces.

“Before developing our new products, Moen takes the time to listen and learn from key decision makers within the marketplace,” said Sarah Lindegarde, senior product manager, Moen Commercial.  “We heard from facility owners that they’re looking to make commercial spaces look and feel less institutional. And instead, create attractive spaces for residents that remind them of home, while still providing the reliability their facilities require. We’re excited to add new, modern designs to two of our most popular collections to meet this need and provide more stylized selections that the industry’s demanding.”

Modern M•Dura Commercial Bath Suite

The new faucets and showerheads within the M•Dura line offer fresh, contemporary styles with clean lines, while also including the highest-grade of durability and performance needed within high-use environments. Two options are available: single- and two-handle widespread lavatory faucets. Both are built to withstand the toughest environments and include ceramic disc cartridges – providing a smooth feel and reliable operation of a new faucet from the first time you use it to the last. All faucets have a vandal-resistant aerator and handles, as well as solid-brass construction.

For a completely matched look, tub and shower components are available, to extend both the appearance and performance into the shower stall, as well. Showerhead options include one with a standard flow rate of 2.5 gallons per minute (gpm) model or an Eco-Performance model with a flow rate of 1.5 gpm. The M•Dura showering products feature the best-in-class Posi-Temp® valve to reduce water consumption as well as eliminate shower shock due to fluctuations in water temperature and pressure. Showering systems provide the option of wall-mount or handheld showerhead models – or a wall-mount/handheld combination. A discreet transfer and grab bar slide bar is also available for added stability and safety.

Modern M•Bition Commercial Bath Suite

The new faucets within the medium-duty M•Bition line will appeal to a number of facilities, specifically those in the convalescence segment that are interested in making a space feel more homelike.

Sleek single- and two-handle widespread faucets are designed to handle everything from hard water to heavy use, and also feature Moen’s Duralast cartridge. Faucets offer precise handle control allowing the user to fine-tune temperature balance, as well as an adjustable temperature limit stop. Available in a 1.5 gpm model, with or without a drain, the M•Bition lavatory faucets are designed to offer both water efficiency and exceptional performance, saving facilities valuable resources. These fixtures coordinate with the M•Dura Modern Showering.

“Moen Commercial recognizes that modern designs, along with commercial-grade quality and features, have often been overlooked in the marketplace. These two new collections ensure there’s a faucet style to meet every need,” said Lindegarde.

Like all Moen products, the new modern styles to the M•Dura and M•Bition lines are made from the highest-quality materials. With heavy-duty metal construction and anti-theft protection, Moen Commercial products are built to provide years of reliable service. They are also backed by a five-year limited warranty*.

Modern styles within the M•Dura line will be available in Summer 2015; modern styles within the M•Bition line will be available in Fall 2015.
