Morbern USA receives ISO certification

Morbern, the leader in decorative vinyl upholstery for commercial interiors, announces its USA division, based in High Point, gained systems certification for customer service, warehousing and shipping.

As of August 2015, Morbern USA officially received its ISO 9001:2008 certification as outlined by the International Standards Organization and verified by Intertek, the international leader in audit, inspection and testing for the textile industry.

“We’ve always been committed to excellent products and service,” said Doug McClendon, vice president sales and marketing for Morbern USA, “but this certification is a public display of that promise to our customers.”

ISO 9001:2008 sets out the criteria for a quality management system and is implemented by more than one million companies and organizations in more than 170 countries. This standard is based on quality management principles including a strong customer focus, excellent management, process and continual improvement. Using ISO 9001:2008 helps ensure good quality products and services for customers.

Morbern, whose corporate headquarters is in Cornwall, Ontario, has been ISO:9008 certified since 1995.
