Morbern’s International Growth Heads East

Morbern, the leading North American designer and manufacturer of vinyl for commercial interior, marine and automotive markets announces its latest international expansion with a new office in Shanghai, China.

Opening July 1 of this year, the Morbern New Materials Office will broaden the company’s international footprint.

“This expansion confirms our position as a global supplier,” said Morbern CEO Mark Bloomfield. “We now have the capability to quickly service customers not only in North American and Europe, but also Asia.”

The Shanghai office will allow Morbern more efficiently access raw materials for use in its North American factories. It will work with suppliers in Asia on pricing, deliveries and quality control.

Morbern’s growth outside North America began several years ago with the hiring of a European sales manager, based in England. The company now has more than 20 customers with sales in 16 countries throughout Europe.
