Most beautiful US healthcare facilities named

The list is based on more than 250,000 votes


Soliant has published its annual list of the nation's most beautiful hospitals, according to an article on the MDLinx website. The list is based on more than 250,000 votes 

The top spot went to Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida in Fort Myers. The facility includes indoor and outdoor gardens, as well as multicolored lighting on balconies opening onto the main atrium. 

Also on the list, UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, N.J.; Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, Ill. and Meadows Regional Medical Center in Vidalia, Ga.

The Huntsman Cancer Institute, in Salt Lake City, Utah; the Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah; Mosaic Life Care in Saint Joseph, Mo.; Norton Sound Regional Hospital in Nome, Ark. and  PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend in Springfield, Ore., were also recognized.
