Motion Industries releases updated General Product catalog

Birmingham, Ala. – Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, announced the release of its updated General Product Catalog.   The new catalog not only contains many new products, but the new interactive, digital format allows greater usability and ease-of-use for customers.

Published as a modern e-reader, the new catalog allows customers to view full-color photos and descriptions of more than 44,000 featured products.  It is searchable by key word, and every product listing contains a direct link to the corresponding web page on www.motionindustries.com.  Browsing is also made easy by selecting any of the 20 product categories such as Bearings, Material Handling, and Industrial Products.

The catalog is also downloadable in PDF format, either in its entirety or by individual product category.  For example, one can download Material Handling to create a Motion Industries Material Handling catalog.

“This interactive catalog provides an especially efficient and user-friendly way for our customers to find the parts or supplies that they need,” said Randy Breaux, Motion Industries’ Senior Vice President, Southern U.S. Operations, Corporate Marketing and Strategic Planning.   “We continually strive to improve service to our customers, and we believe the catalog’s functionality coupled with the essential content will provide customers more convenient access to the products they need than ever before.”

The catalog offers carefully selected items which are used every day by industrial facilities and government agencies alike.   A total of over 5.6 million items are accessible through Motion’s branch network.

In addition to being both desktop- and mobile-friendly, the new catalog format allows users to share pages that interest them with others across all social media outlets.

With annual sales of $4.5 billion, Motion Industries is a leading industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical and industrial automation, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components, industrial products, safety products, and material handling.  Motion Industries has over 550 operations including 15 distribution centers throughout North America and serves more than 150,000 customers from the food and beverage, pulp and paper, iron and steel, chemical, mining and aggregate, petrochemical, automotive, wood and lumber, and pharmaceutical industries.
