FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Richmond in Richmond County, N.C., went on lockdown after a patient said they opened an envelope with a white powdery substance inside, according to an article on the WBTV website.
As a precautionary measure, the hospital locked down the facility, opened its Command Center and contacted law enforcement.
The lockdown was lifted after the substance was tested.
Officials said the powdery substance has been identified as non-hazardous.
