Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, N.J., has opened two new 650-square-foot, state-of-the-art operating rooms, according to an article on the Health Construction + Operations website.
The rooms were designed to allow maximum efficiency, with amenities that include:
• The ability to manipulate medical images digitally from a touch panel at the nurse’s station
• Powerful lights suspended from the ceiling to ensure accurate visibility, and enough space for robot-assisted surgeries
