NICOR Inc. expands commercial ambient lighting product line

NICOR’s T3A Architectural LED Troffer provides an economical, easy-to-install upgrade from linear fluorescent lighting to a long-lasting and energy efficient LED solution. The contemporary center lens design delivers a soft natural glow with even illumination and minimized glare making it an attractive general-purpose ambient lighting solution. The T3A also features a pre-mounted driver with a high efficiency, maintenance-free LED chamber and provides superior color rendering greater than 90 CRI.

Whether it’s a school, hospital, airport, office or convenience store, NICOR LED troffers bring a stylish and economical lighting solution to all commercial, educational, medical, and retail applications. Available in 1’x4’, 2’x2’, and 2’x4’ dimensions, the T3A Series replaces existing fluorescent troffers, making them ideal for installation in both new construction and retrofit projects alike. For added flexibility, the T3A Series also offers a Drywall Grid Adapter Kit/Flange Mounting Kit and a Surface Mount Kit designed to convert this troffer into surface mount or suspended luminaire.

“Commercial spaces require fixtures to perform well, look clean and deliver value. With T3A, we carefully designed a fixture that delivers on all of those fronts and more.” remarked Al Uszynski, NICOR’s VP Sales and Marketing. “LED ambient fixtures are no longer considered a high-price luxury item when T3A seems to please all of the stakeholders involved in commercial projects – specifiers, distributors, end users and contractors.”

The T3A LED Troffer may qualify for available utility rebate programs and is a Design Lights Consortium® (DLC) qualified product. Not only can you save on operating and relamping costs with high luminaire efficacy, but adding control options provide greater reduction in operating and maintenance costs.
