NY Tech Summit to Explore Hot Topics Facing IT Professionals

NY Tech Summit will explore four hot topics facing IT professionals during its 13th annual technology conference, scheduled for June 7-9 at the Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY.

“Each year the NY Tech Summit advisory committee looks to construct an outline for the conference that will tackle the biggest challenges organizations face today, and how technology can help overcome those obstacles,” said Peter Belyea, chief executive officer of the event’s presenting sponsors, TERACAI and CXtec. “We believe this year’s critical topics are essential to helping IT professionals guide their organization in the right direction as they work to overcome the challenges they face in this ever-changing IT world.”

This year’s four hot topics include:

hot topics

  • Corporate Awareness: From cyber-crime to compliance, to vendor management and training, the level of awareness within an entire organization needs to accelerate. Attendees will learn that the effects and risk of technology are everywhere and affect everyone.
  • Cloud Strategies: The “cloud” is no longer a fleeting trend or exclusive buzzword. Attendees will learn what’s the right balance for their organizations and how to make sure their cloud is secure
  • IT Evolution: New regulations and policies, constantly shifting business conditions, and uncontrollable outside forces can seem like impossible feats for any organization. Attendees will learn ways in which to optimize their businesses and work smarter, not harder.
  • Transformational Leadership: In its ideal form, transformational leadership creates valuable and positive changes and develops followers into leaders. IT can be the catalyst for transformational leadership with their organizations. Techniques for making this happen will be explored.

NY Tech Summit will also feature more than 30 educational sessions led by IT professionals and industry thought leaders. A full conference agenda is available for viewing on the website.

NY Tech Summit will conduct a panel discussion on Cybersecurity entitled, “Cybesecurity: Sometimes, Your Gut Isn’t the Only Thing Telling You…”

Attendees have two registration options. There is a two-day pass on June 7-8 for $595. There is a new Conference Admission & Workshop Bundle, including 2 pre-conference workshops on June 7 and access to all events on June 8 and 9, for only $695.
