National Office Furniture Receives Nightingale Award for Weli Seating from Healthcare Design Expo

National Office Furniture, a unit of Kimball International, Inc., is proud to announce that its newest seating collection, Weli, has been honored with a Nightingale award at this year’s Healthcare Design Expo. The Nightingale Awards, named after Florence Nightingale, honor new products that are exhibited at the Healthcare Design Expo & Conference. Presented by Healthcare Design Magazine and Contract Magazine in partnership with the Center for Health Design, the Nightingale Awards recognize contributions to the healthcare built environment through product design and innovation that contribute to healing. Juried by seasoned healthcare design professionals and healthcare facility managers, the winners are selected based on the product’s contribution to a healing environment, functionality, quality and durability, aesthetics and style, pricing, and innovation.

“Our vision when developing this robust healthcare seating and tables line was to focus on providing solutions for spaces that provide strength and durability without sacrificing design,” said Vanessa Englert, National’s Director of Product. “With Weli, specifiers can create a visually cohesive and inviting environment, developing spaces that focus on personal interactions, while providing comfort and support.”

The Weli seating collection was designed for people who heal, learn, discover, and aid everyday activities in healthcare settings. Weli’s broad range of solutions accommodates diverse physical needs and social preferences. Guest chairs feature varied seat dimensions to ensure comfort for a wide range of users. Rocker, lounge, and easy access seating solutions create supportive and comfortable options for all that visit healthcare facilities. With a capacity to uphold 750lbs in each seat, Weli offers peace of mind in spaces that need to support all partners. Weli also offers coordinating tables, ottomans, and benches to add warmth and functionality to any healthcare setting.

To satisfy a wide variety of requirements, Weli includes all healthcare necessities: wall saver leg design, clean out on all guest and lounge seating, multiple arm cap options to aid in ingress/egress of the seating, and tables in solid surface and laminate.
