The new Healing Arts Pavilion in Plainfield, Illinois was designed as a 'one-stop shop' providing outpatient services including primary and specialty care, laboratory services, advanced imaging, an immediate care center and physical therapy, according to an article on the Herald-News website.
“People were looking for something different,” Kathleen Rhine, chief administration officer for Presence Healthcare, said in the article. “They were looking for an experience when they need health care that was warm, welcoming, convenient, efficient and filled with an environment about helping people.”
The facility has a navigator to greet patients as they walk in and was designed to allow staff, providers, patients and caregivers to communicate more efficiently, the article said.
