Employees asking for more controls at entrances
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center in New York is investing $60,000 in security for its lobby area, according to an article on the Campus Safety website.
The check-in desk will be moved to the entrance of the hospital and the waiting area will be moved back.
All visitors will have to check in with staff when they enter the building.
Employees have been asking for more controls at entrances since 2016 when they signed a petition on the matter.
