COMMERCE, CA - Nora Lighting’s family of Edge-Lit LED Panels now features a new pendant mounting option that allows suspension of the fixture up to eight feet from the ceiling. The suspended, extruded aluminum surface frame presents a contemporary, finished appearance.

The Edge-Lit LED panels can also be surface mounted or recessed into hard ceilings.      

Edge-Lit Panels are a new concept in LED fixtures that uniformly illuminate offices and conference rooms with ambient zonal light while also projecting foot candles to the work surface – without the image of LED diodes. The panels feature an opalescent lens with an easy-on-the-eyes glow.    

Available from NSpec, the architectural lighting division of Nora, Edge-Lit Panels can be utilized in home, office or commercial environments where overall illumination is desired and cost savings are a factor. The panels save energy because they deliver more lumens per watt; reduce maintenance; and save on cooling costs because there is no forward heat.

Three models are available: 2’ x 2’, 1’ x 4’ and 2’ x 4’, and the fixtures include all accessories for the various mounting options..  The panels are 120V/277V with a range of wattages, lumens and Kelvin temperatures available. They are also dimmable, cULs and DLC listed.
