Nora Lighting introduces Onyx Squares

Nora Lighting introduces Onyx Squares, modernist square-shaped LED retrofit downlights with deep-set optics for optimal visual comfort. The Squares can be installed in new construction, remodels or retrofits, and are a recent addition to Nora’s Onyx LED Downlight Series.

New models are available in 3” apertures for 4” housings (650 lumens) and 4.125” apertures for 6” housing (800 lumens). An integral driver and Samsung LEDs are part of the Onyx package.

Onyx Squares can be retrofitted into existing 4” and 6” round housings and oriented to any position within the housings.

Featuring contemporary sharp-edged styling, Onyx Squares are designed for residential and light commercial sites, and include a smooth white reflector and regressed lens with glare-free illumination. All Onyx models have 90+ CRI for realistic color rendition, and are available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K. The Onyx Series is dimmable, Energy Star® -listed, and cULus Wet Label listed. It can be used to comply with Title 24 Part 6 high efficacy LED light source requirements.

One-piece die-cast aluminum construction dissipates heat and ensures longer life. The fixtures have a medium base socket adaptor for easy retrofitting in existing round recessed housings by Nora and others. The fixture can also be used with dedicated Nora LED housings.
