Nora Lighting's Cobalt Retrofit Downlights now feature 4'' deep cone reflectors, new finishes

Nora Lighting’s Cobalt Series of LED retrofit downlights now includes a 4” Premium Deep Cone Reflector/Baffle Model with commercial-style optical cut-off that reduces glare. With 1000 lumens, Cobalt is comparable to architectural grade fixtures with intense brightness and illumination.

With the 4” Premium Model’s greater depth of optics and LED platform positioned 3/8” deeper than the standard 4” cone, glare is minimized and visual comfort is improved.

Along with the new model, the Cobalt Series also includes standard 4”, 5” and 6” aperture downlights. An expanded range of finishes is now available for most models, including bronze with bronze flange (reflector and baffle); diffused clear with white flange (reflector); haze with white flange (reflector); and white with while flange (reflector and baffle).

The Cobalt Series is cULus listed for use in existing IC or non-IC housings manufactured by Nora and others. A medium-based socket kit is standard for easy retrofits as well as an optional GU24 socket kit.

The fixtures feature Cree’s® latest COB family of LED arrays, producing brighter light output and low 16W power consumption. All models are rated at 95 CRI for accurate color rendition.

A Nora-designed UTM (unitized thermal management) system has thick die-cast aluminum heat sink to dissipate heat from the LEDs and allows for a smaller overall height. All fixtures are dimmable and available in 2700K, 3000K and 4000K.

The Cobalt Series is Energy Star rated, cULus wet label listed and Title 24 compliant.

Nora’s comprehensive LED product line includes: LED dedicated and retrofit downlights; LED track and rail fixtures; LED edge-lit panels; LED MLS (multi-lighting systems); LED linear and under cabinet lightbars; LED puck lights; LED high-output, Hy-Brite, side-lit, CCT (color correlated) RGB, RGBW and standard tape lights; LED pendants; LED step lights; and LED emergency / exit signs.   www.noralighting.com
