Nystrom & Associates opened its latest behavioral health clinic in Fargo, North Dakota. This is the company’s first clinic in the state and its 53rd location across Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and North Dakota. The clinic includes in person, tele-therapy and psychiatry services.
“We see this as a real opportunity to improve access to mental healthcare at a time when more people are living with behavioral health conditions,” says Mark Peterson, CEO of Nystrom & Associates.
The number of individuals suffering from mental health and substance use issues has increased nationally over the past few years. In North Dakota, nearly 30 percent reported symptoms of anxiety or depression in February of 2021, and more than 19 percent were unable to get needed counseling or therapy.
