Omaha medical center sculpture recognizes leader

Abstract floral sculpture is located in the Nebraska Medical Center's Storz Pavilion


A 42-foot-high sculpture rises through a vestibule of the Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, in memory of a local philanthropist, according to the "Last Detail" feature on the Health Facilities Management website.

The abstract floral glass sculpture reaches up through the terrazzo flooring and creates an illusion of movement as the viewer ascends a nearby staircase, according to the article.

The base of the sculpture is a wishing pond comprising glass stones that are lit from below.
