POWR2 Welcomes Operations Director

POWR2, a North American leader in innovative energy solutions, welcomes Toby Nunn as operations director. Nunn has been integral in the evolution of POWR2 from concept to reality and steps into this leadership role as the company launches its Hybrid Energy System (HES).

The HES, a portable power supply that integrates with diesel generators to optimize load capacities, is set to revolutionize power supply in a number of industries. It features leading lithium ion battery technology and automatic load level sensing to cut generator maintenance and fuel costs, improve efficiency and reduce emissions for power rental companies, allowing them to expand their markets.

“I am excited to be piloting the launch of this innovative technology to the North American market,” Nunn said. “We’ve seen a lot of growth in the construction industry, where hybrid energy systems can assist with generator low load mitigation, noise ordinance compliance and efficient energy consumption, but our customers have also seen the benefits of the HES at sporting events, film sets, remote locations in the oil and gas industry, temporary accommodations and industries that rely on cyclical loads.”

Nunn brings 10 years of industry experience as a business leader for a global fuel tank brand to his role as POWR2 operations director. He co-founded and established POWR2 to provide leading fuel handling solutions that increase efficiency to the rental, construction, municipal, oil and gas and specialty markets.

“I’m looking forward to providing a product that offers true value to the market it serves with new and unique value-added capabilities,” Nunn said. “We have a great team and are excited to get to work building on our existing relationships with power rental companies across North America.”
