Partnership Opens New Cancer Site in Arizona

8,845-square-foot facility will include seven exam rooms and 18 chemotherapy chairs

Cancer & Blood Specialists of Arizona and American Oncology Network recently announced a partnershipfor the opening of a new cancer center location in Flagstaff, Arizona. The new center offers advanced, comprehensive care providing unsurpassed convenience for patients in the surrounding area.

The newly constructed 8,845-square-foot cancer center is located in the NorthStar Building. The facility will include seven exam rooms and 18 chemotherapy chairs, and will offer infusion therapy, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, an in-house laboratory performing all routine blood work on-site and an in-house specialty pharmacy. Patients will have access to care management support including nutrition guidance and financial counseling.

“This clinic will offer our patients the same great care they are accustomed to receiving with advances in clinical research and therapies, 24/7 pharmacy assistance and in-house pathology, pharmacy and laboratory services,” says Medical Oncologist Peter Mathern.
