Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) new Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care was designed to make patients' experience convenient


Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) new Buerger Center for Advanced Pediatric Care was designed to make patients' experience convenient, according to an article on the Health Facilities Management website.

The Buerger Center features a curving façade of primary colors, and a glass-lined exterior admitting natural light.

Building features include electronic check-in and preregistration areas on each floor to will streamline the registration process.

Waiting rooms are filled with natural light and dotted with"Wait, Play, Learn" areas to provide patients and their siblings an area to pass the time with educational toys and games. The facility also has a roof garden and a 2.6-acre landscaped outdoor plaza.
