1,000-bed Wuhan facility built in well under two weeks


China's first coronavirus hospital, a 1,000-bed facility in Wuhan was built in under well two weeks, according to an article and photo gallery on the Daily Mail website.

The 269,000-square-foot building is one of two new emergency hospitals in China created for coronavirus patients.

The hospital was be able to receive patients the day after construction was completed.

The building design was based on a Beijing hospital that was constructed to help tackle the SARS virus in 2003. Like the hospital in Beijing, the Wuhan centre will be made out of prefabricated buildings.
