Ready Computing Joins the Strategic Health Information Exchange Collaborative (SHIEC) Partner Program

Ready Computing, a trusted leader in healthcare IT that specializes in delivering solutions to a wide range of federal, state, and commercial organizations, today announced that it has joined SHIEC as a Strategic Business and Technology (SB&T) member. SHIEC is the national trade association representing Health Information Exchanges (HIEs).

Ready Computing joins SHIEC’s growing and progressive ecosystem of industry leaders where participants learn from, work with, and counsel each other. SHIEC has helped elevate the entire industry by encouraging participants to share best practices, stimulate innovation, and participate in nationwide interoperability efforts.

“We are excited and honored to join SHIEC to further advance nationwide interoperability efforts through our comprehensive healthcare technology solutions and experience,” said Michael LaRocca, President and CEO of Ready Computing. “This partnership perfectly aligns with our mission to share our hard-earned industry lessons with peers, while concurrently enabling us to explore new relationships and opportunities.”

In addition to enhancing Ready’s professional services, joining SHIEC will bring a unique opportunity to work with member organizations to advance its innovative Channels Clinical Incident Management Solution. Channels delivers clinical and financial value through data that is collected, aggregated, and shared by HIEs—powering advanced clinical workflows that drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes, care costs, team collaboration, and revenue generation for HIE members.

“High-quality sources of aggregated clinical data are critical to Channels’ success,” said Samir Jain, Vice President of Technology at Ready Computing. “Channels provides HIEs with the opportunity to extend the value that they already provide to their participants, offering them a platform that can seamlessly use clinical event notifications and longitudinal records to drive simple, but powerful, clinical programs and workflows.”

“SHIEC is excited to have Ready Computing join the SB&T Partner program,” said Kelly Hoover Thompson, CEO of SHIEC. “SB&T Partners are selected based on their ability to bring unique, value-added solutions to our HIE community members. Ready Computing has proven its value to HIEs and their members through its extensive implementation, integration, and operational experience, as well as the development of interoperability-based HIE solutions. SHIEC looks forward to working with the Ready Team to build upon the substantial progress of HIEs nationwide.”
