Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals has announced plans to construct another $24 million physical rehabilitation hospital, this time in Pinellas Park, Fla. The system adds St. Pete to its growing portfolio which already includes South Orlando, East Lakeland/Winter Haven, West Palm Beach and West Orlando, according to Healthcare Construction+Operations.

Everest Rehabilitation Hospital operates and develops 40,000-square-foot, 36-bed, single-story physical rehabilitation hospitals. The rehabilitation hospitals are predesigned with the option to add 17 additional private rooms should the community dictate the need for expansion.

They include inpatient and outpatient physical therapy gyms, a large outdoor mobility courtyard for therapeutic use, aqua therapy, a fully furnished life skills training apartment with kitchen and bathroom, family gathering areas, a dining hall with an outdoor patio, in-house dialysis, and an in-house pharmacy.
