Schindler Elevator Corporation launches new mobile application for service customers

Schindler Elevator Corporation, the industry leader in bringing real-time elevator performance information to building owners and managers, today launched a new mobile application for its service customers, Schindler Dashboard Mobile. Schindler Dashboard Mobile takes all of the critical elements of Schindler's online elevator and escalator performance tool, Schindler Dashboard, and puts them right in the palm of the customer’s hands.  Users can instantly:

- Check the operational status of their elevators or escalators

- Make service requests

- Stay up-to-date via automatic push notifications as issues get resolved.

Since introducing the elevator industry’s first online performance data tool in the 1990s, the company has been delivering maintenance customers online, 24/7 access to information about their equipment performance.  Schindler Dashboard Mobile is the latest enhancement to Schindler’s elevator and escalator maintenance offering.

Available for both iOS and Android users, the app can be downloaded from the Apple App store and Google Play.

Creating a proactive mobile workforce

Since 2013, Schindler and Apple have partnered to provide a high level of security and a standardized operating system across several hardware generations. Schindler's workforce is now equipped with mobile solutions powered by iOS and custom apps that tap into critical systems and data.  These business solutions are deeply integrated into Schindler’s back-end systems, providing a closed loop information platform that ultimately focuses on the end-user experience.

“The new Schindler Dashboard Mobile app is the latest innovation in our digital toolbox. It provides fast, accurate information to our employees and our customers in the era of the mobile workforce,” said Greg Ergenbright, president, Schindler North America. “Schindler Dashboard Mobile gives our customers instant, real-time information about their elevators and escalators, empowering them to perform their jobs more efficiently.”
