Schneider Electric has released the Services Modernization Solution Selector

Schneider Electric, the global specialist in energy management and automation, has released the Services Modernization Solution Selector, a free, easy-to-use mobile application that provides advanced search capabilities for facility personnel looking to replace or upgrade switchgear and other electrical distribution equipment. The solution selector searches an extensive database of direct replacement designs for a number of manufacturers, providing users with a simple, consolidated tool to quickly find the appropriate modernization solution.

Facility managers, maintenance staff, consulting engineers, electrical contractors and distributors can use the application to access a variety of information. The Services Modernization Solution Selector provides:

A searchable product catalog that provides information on a circuit breaker’s direct replacement design, based on user input on voltage range, brand and more

Photographs, data sheets and technical specifications for the direct replacement design and brochures on custom solutions, all of which can be shared with users directly through the app

Customizable user profiles that store and remember circuit breakers and other solutions per profile

Customer service support via email and easy access to sales representatives

24/7 search capabilities and functionalities on- and offline

The latest addition to Schneider Electric’s suite of digital solutions, this user-friendly app provides information on direct replacement circuit breaker designs. Direct replacement circuit breakers fit into existing cubicles with little-to-no modification, thus reducing or even eliminating outages on the equipment. A direct replacement solution incorporates the user’s specific needs and reduces downtime and cost compared to installing new equipment.

“Modernizing an aging infrastructure is essential to ensure buildings are operating optimally. The Services Modernization Solution Selector enables facility management teams and consultants to make informed purchasing decisions on replacement designs for low voltage and medium voltage switchgear as well as custom solutions for other critical electrical system components,” said John Blaylock, Director, Service Operations, Schneider Electric. “This app reaffirms our commitment to making modernization as painless as possible by simplifying the process and reducing downtime.”

The Services Modernization Solution Selector is currently available via the iOS App Store and will be available on the Google Play™ store in the near future.
