Searstone Retirement Community Announces Expansion Project

Searstone, a not-for-profit retirement community, in operation since 2013, today announced a highly anticipated expansion project. The Highview at Searstone will open in 2023, adding 152 modern independent living residences to the Cary, NC community.

In addition to the brand new four-story residence building, the expansion project will include enhancements to the existing community, including:

• A 5,000-square-foot auditorium and arts center

• Expanded Brittany Place Health Care Center

• Multiple new on-site dining options, including a terrace for al fresco dining

• Fully-stocked game room

• Outdoor community gathering spaces

• New landscaping and walking paths throughout the campus

Currently, Searstone is at full capacity with a wait list. The Highview expansion presents an opportunity for those on the wait list, as well as others, to reserve their place in the community. Those interested can sign up to be a member of the Priority Club by making a fully-refundable $500 deposit. This ensures a place in line for priority residence selection along with a lucrative package of benefits, available only until construction begins.
