Seeq Customers and Partners to Present at OSIsoft PI World User Conference in San Francisco

Seeq, a leading provider of advanced analytics solutions for process manufacturing companies, announced today that Abbott Nutrition and TasWater will present at OSIsoft PI World on their use of Seeq to improve business and production outcomes. Seeq applications build on machine learning and big data technologies to speed time to insight for diagnostic, descriptive, and predictive analytics. The presentations are typical of the benefits Seeq customers are realizing in the oil & gas, power, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, mining, food and beverage, and other process industries.

Furthering their integrated technical and business partnership with OSIsoft, this year Seeq will be a Gold Sponsor of OSIsoft PI World, the largest gathering of OSIsoft customers and partners in the world.

"The passion to generate even more value from data in the OSIsoft PI System and deliver customer-centric solutions from our partner community is truly remarkable," says Tim Johnson, Senior Director of Partners and Resellers, OSIsoft. "Together, Seeq and OSIsoft can help companies improve their operations and production outcomes through analytics as demonstrated by our shared customers Abbott Nutrition and TasWater."

In addition to sponsoring PI World and having multiple customers presenting, several of Seeq’s worldwide partners will be showcasing their integration efforts with Seeq, including system integrators, ISVs (independent software vendors), and vertical-specific modules built on Seeq functionality.

This worldwide partner network is what enabled system integrator Nukon PTY in Melbourne to work with TasWater, the water and sewer utility for Tasmania to develop a predictive analytics solution.  Another partner sharing their work with Seeq is Alkemy Innovation of Bend, Oregon, which developed a solution for batch analytics, applicable for pharmaceutical, chemical and other vertical industries.

“Working with Seeq enabled Alkemy to accelerate its batch analytics solution development by years of effort,” said Lisa Graham, CEO of Alkemy Innovation, Inc. “The result is our shared customers get insights from laboratory or production systems in minutes instead of days to accelerate their analytics.”

The customer presentations, given by two of the many Seeq/OSIsoft shared customers attending OSIsoft PI World include:

James Li, Core Systems Manager at Abbott Nutrition

“These shared customers of OSIsoft and Seeq demonstrate some of the ways our customers benefit from our products,” notes Steve Sliwa, Co-Founder and CEO, Seeq Corporation. “Their success and feedback on product requirements has led to the innovative and easy-to-use advanced analytics application that Seeq is today."

Recent releases of Seeq enable larger deployments through scalability features in the software and make the Seeq application easier to use. Scalability features in R19, the most recent release, include parallelization of complex calculations across CPUs, administration tools for performance optimization, and increased control and visibility for users to facilitate their efforts with real-time progress indicators. R19 also includes usability features focused on capsules, the innovative data objects in Seeq for working with single or multi-dimensional time periods of interest.

For detailed training on the features of Seeq, the Seeq University channel on YouTube has videos describing the capabilities of Seeq R19 including search, advanced trending, data-search, formulas, and more.
