Presbyterian Senior Living's 29 communities customize laundry based on the demographics of the resident population and the physical constraints of a particular campus, according to an article on the McKnight's website. 

Many facilities offer multiple levels of care to align laundry services with residents' needs.

A mix of outsourcing, in-house laundering and sorting innovations or the addition of fee-for-service arrangements are all options.

Some private facilities have residents who will pay for convenience and upscale laundry services. Landis Homes employees launder clothes or bulky items like quilts for independent living residents on a fee-for-service basis.
